Max Fashion – Practice
Project Overview:
This project was a conceptual redesign of Max Fashion’s online store, aimed at improving its usability and overall visual experience. I conducted an in-depth study of the existing website and app, gathering user feedback, analysing usability gaps, and identifying areas for structural improvement. The process involved everything from note-making and user interviews to wireframing, UI design, and prototyping.
Design Process:
My focus was on making the experience smooth, minimal, and user-friendly for a wide Indian audience aged 18–35, primarily in urban and semi-urban areas. I started with user research and competitor analysis, then worked on user personas and a revised content structure. Wireframes were created to map key flows and layouts before moving into final UI and interactive prototypes. The new design improved navigation, layout balance, and highlighted product visibility without overwhelming the user.
What Was Designed:
I designed all major e-commerce pages including homepage, shop grid, single product page, cart, and checkout. Key components like product cards, banners, tabs, filters, and carousels were structured with consistent spacing and visual clarity. The full experience was prototyped to show real interaction flow and how the design solved the earlier friction points.
Key Highlights:
Redesigned a complete e-commerce flow based on real-user observations.
Improved structure, navigation, and layout logic.
Created responsive wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs.
Conducted competitor analysis and user interviews.
Designed with urban and semi-urban Indian shoppers in mind.
Although this was a self-initiated project, it followed a full design process—from research to final prototype. It helped sharpen my skills in mapping real user pain points and turning them into structured solutions. The positive feedback I received from peers and professionals confirmed the impact of thoughtful, user-first design.
